Carter family in need of help after devastating fire

While the business is based in Branford, the Carters are known across Suwannee County for selling jerky and other goods. Recently, tragedy struck the family and turned their lives upside down. According to their daughter, Sheri Akers, Andy’s truck exploded and caused a fire that spread to his and Sandy’s home and shed. “The truck was under the carport near the house,” Akers wrote on GoFundMe. “The truck burnt up completely, along with his (Carter) wallet, money and important things; the carport and all that was under
