Campbell Wins District 4, District 1 runoff set for June 9

The City of Live Oak held its municipal election on Tuesday, May 5, with voters deciding races in District 1 and District 4.
In District 1, four candidates competed for the seat among 382 registered voters. Adam Collins led the race with 31 votes, followed closely by Tommie Jefferson with 22 votes. Robintina Reed received 15 votes, while Terry Richardson earned one vote.
Due to the close vote count, Collins and Jefferson will advance to a runoff election on Tuesday, June 9.
