Business of the Month named in Mayo

By Starr Munro Riverbend News In a very telling decision made by Lafayette State Bank, the “Business of the Month” title in Mayo this October has gone to none other than the Lafayette County Supervisor of Elections. The election coming up has most, if not all of our country, heavily invested in their candidates with both time and emotion. Local citizens in the area each weekend lead various small parades on boats and canoes on the rivers and springs to express their convictions in signs, songs and flags with their candidate of choice proudly shown.  Hopefully the interest in important election years such as this one ebbs into more local interest in the other elections that
