On Tuesday, March 18, nine teams converged on Suwannee High School for the Bulldogs’ first mini meet of the season.
For the boys, freshman Logan Haley claimed the top spot in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:10.73. He also claimed first place in the 1600-meter run with a time of 4:56.61. Frank Brookins, a sophomore, took first place in the javelin event with a mark of 48.03 meters.
Several Bulldog girls also claimed the top spot of several categories. In the 400-meter dash, junior Kennedy Jennings came in first place with a time of 1:02.97. Olivia Hermanson, a freshman, took the top spot in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:33.42. Finally, in the 1600-meter run, junior Ryleigh Hermanson claimed first place with a time of 5:30.67.
