On Tuesday, March 4, the Suwannee High School flag football team faced off against the Baker County Wildcats. The Bulldogs proved, once again, that they are a step above the rest by winning the game 6-0. Senior Jessica Tran was the stand-out player for the evening, scoring all six points. She also was the only Bulldog able to get a sack against the Wildcats. On the defensive side, she also dominated with seven tackles. Close behind her was senior Cherish Sutton, who had a total of five tackles. Senior Tor'lanedria Ross showed she had hands made of glue as she received a total of five passes, more than any other player on either team. Sophomore Brandy Robinson was another stand-out player with five carries and 30 rushing yards. The Bulldogs showed up and sent the Wildcats packing, and they are sure to do it many more times this season. The next flag football home game will be at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 18, against the Florida State University High School Seminoles.
