Bulldogs dominate at girls weightlifting districts

Suwannee High School (SHS) has dominated the girls weightlifting scene for years, and with the new season underway, the Bulldogs are once again proving their strength.
On Friday, Jan. 23, Suwannee High School hosted the Girls Weightlifting Class 1A, Region 2, District 4 Championship. Eight schools participated in the event, including two local programs – SHS and Hamilton County High School.
Traditional Results:
The competition opened with the traditional event, beginning with the 101-pound weight class. Bulldog Kirsten Lynn placed first with a total lift of 190 pounds.
