Bulldogs battle hard in swim regionals

Lee Trawick reporter2.riverbendnews@gmail.com The Suwannee High School boys' and girls’ swim teams were looking forward to participating in the Florida High School Athletic Association (FHSAA) Class 1A Region 2 Championships, as many of their swimmers had the chance to qualify for the State Championships. The Bulldogs sent 15 swimmers to Ocala, competing in 13 different events. Unfortunately, the Bulldogs' performance did not meet their expectations. The girls' 200-yard medley relay team was disqualified in the first event, resulting in no score. Cade Cannon was the highest-placing Bulldog, finishing 17th in the boys' 200-yard medley event.
