Bullard, Speights re-elected chairman and vice chairman

Jason Futch reporter2@riverbendnews.org On Tuesday, Nov. 11, during its annual organizational meeting, the Hamilton County School Board met to discuss its leadership. During the brief meeting, the board voted to retain Board Chairman Johnny Bullard and Board Vice Chairman Saul Speights. Speights and Board Member Sammy McCoy were not present during the meeting. Once the decision was made, Superintendent Lee Wetherington-Zamora, who had opened the meeting as chair,handed the gavel to Bullard, who then took control of the meeting following his appointment.
