Bucs wrangle Rams

By Rick Patrick Riverbend News On Friday, Oct. 23, the Branford High School Buccaneers went on the road to defeat the Rams of Interlachen High School, 12-7.  With the win, the Bucs improved their record to 5-1, with one more game remaining on their regular season.  The Bucs were the first to strike when Markell Pugh punched the ball over the goal line from three yards out, late in the first quarter. The point-after-touchdown (PAT) missed its mark and the Bucs held a 6-0 lead as the opening period came to a close.
