Bucs ready for “Friday Night Lights”

By Rick Patrick Riverbend News The Branford High School Buccaneers have set a course for Tallahassee and a chance to play for a state title in December. The first step on the “Trek to Tallahassee” takes place on Friday, Sept. 4, as the Bucs kick off their much anticipated 2020 football season at home against a tough Red Devils team from Williston High School. The Bucs are hoping to improve on last season's 6-5 record. The Bucs made it to the playoffs where they were defeated in a heart-breaking 33-34 overtime loss to Hilliard High School.
