Bucs cage Tigers

By Rick Patrick Riverbend News The Branford High School Buccaneers finished their regular season at home on a winning note by defeating another rival, the Trenton High School Tigers, 12-9, on Friday, Oct. 30. The Bucs finished their regular season with a 6-1 overall record. The Tigers struck first in the contest and threatened to add to their lead when a Buc defender intercepted a Tiger pass in the end-zone. The Tigers held a 6-0 lead at the end of the first quarter. The Bucs struck back with a rushing touchdown late in the second quarter to tie the score at six points apiece, heading into halftime.
