Buccaneer Mylie Fernandez commits to Warner University

Christian Peterson reporter@riverbendnews.org Recently, Mylie Fernandez, a Buccaneer volleyball player and volleyball state champion, committed to attending Warner University after graduating from Branford High School. “Coming off a state championship has me feeling very confident about my decision to play for Warner, and they have given me a lot of support throughout my high school season,” Fernandez said. “I think Warner was a good fit for me because it seems very family-oriented and the coaches and players there are great people. I am so thankful for the opportunity to play for them, and I can’t wait for what the future holds.”
