Buccaneer cheerleaders to host Fourth of July Pageant

Danny Federico  reporter3.riverbendnews@gmail.com On Friday, June 21, at 6 p.m., the Branford High School auditorium will burst to life with red, white and blue spirit as 33 young ladies take the stage for this year’s Fourth of July Pageant. This annual event, featuring nine divisions for contestants ranging in age from infants to 18 years old, serves as a fundraiser for the Buccaneers cheerleading team. In addition to winners being announced in each category, a People’s Choice award will also be presented. This award will be determined through monetary votes cast by attendees.
