Branford Soccer secures double district championship win

Though the program is only four years old, both the girls’ and boys' teams are already seeing their hard work come to fruition in the form of district championship titles. Girls: The Branford Buccaneer girls’ journey began on Tuesday, Jan. 20, with the district championship quarterfinals. They faced off against the Hamilton County Trojans, earning the victory with a score of 4-2. The next step on the journey was the semifinals on Friday, Jan. 23.
