Ash Grove and the Rotary Club of Branford teamed up on Saturday, April 5, to host an exciting morning of Easter festivities at Hatch Park. The gates opened at 11 a.m., presenting an assortment of activities for youngsters of all ages to enjoy, including classic yard games, face painting, arts and crafts, bounce houses and photos with the one and only Easter Bunny.
However, the highlight of the event was the egg hunts, which were organized into five distinct categories for children, ensuring that every participant had a chance to fill their baskets. Over 6,000 eggs were hidden across the park's baseball fields, including five golden eggs—one for each age category. The lucky finders of the golden eggs were rewarded with special Easter baskets filled with candy, toys and other treasures.
The eager smiles that were visible on each child's face as they plundered across the fields in search of the colorful plastic eggs served as evidence of the event's success
