Branford Beta Club shows they are the alpha at Nationals

Christian Peterson: Reporter@riverbendnews.org The Branford High School (BHS) Beta Club spent Sunday, June 18, through Tuesday, June 20, competing at the Beta Club Nationals Competition in Louisville, Ky. The club had a great time competing and pulled out all the stops, walking away with multiple top 10 wins and one national winner. Raw Finch was the first competitor, participating in the Division 1 Painting category. While he did not place nationally, he was one of the top three from the State competition. Braxton Young was the second competitor in the Division 2 Visual Arts category with a poured epoxy wooden bar height table. Young walked away among the top 10 in the nation for his
