Restaurants and flower shops also make large amounts of money on this special day. Mothers are a pretty big deal because they are often the “glue” that holds a family together. Typically, it’s Mom who tends to sick kids, keeps everyone on schedule, prepares meals and does about everything in between. So, mothers have earned their day of fame and all the presents that come their way. But, what if they are looking for something else? The shiny stuff is nice, but it will fade. The candy will be consumed and forgotten. The cards will get stuffed in a drawer or
