Arrest made in Madison County traffic fatality

Rick Patrick Riverbend News According to a press release from the Florida Highway Patrol (FHP), Bria Davis, 32, of Jasper, has turned herself in to the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Office. The arrest comes after a traffic homicide investigation of a one-vehicle crash that occurred on the afternoon of Sept. 6, 2025, in Madison County. The press release states that Davis was driving westbound on U.S. Highway 90 in a gray Nissan Versa, east of Northwest Elizabeth Sims Loop, in Madison County. She failed to negotiate a curve, leading the car to travel off the roadway. Davis overcorrected the steering, causing the vehicle to cross both lanes of travel and onto the south shoulder. The vehicl
