Around the banks of the Suwannee

As the outpouring of individuals on social network commemorating Veterans on our recent Veterans Day was tremendous, informative and certainly well-deserved, I thought I would share something with you that happened during the second World War now more than three quarters, seventy-five years ago. Again, I am going to turn to history from my native Hamilton County and share with you some information I garnered from "Those Were the Days," copyrighted in 2006, a personal narrative history done by the late Mr. John C.
