Around the banks of the Suwannee, our summertime is in full swing. Hot, humid days and nights. The countdown is on for the beginning of the 2025-26 school year. Parents, grandparents, guardians, teachers and school personnel will be preparing for a brand-new school year. Parents, grandparents and guardians, I encourage you to visit your child's school, get to know the school personnel and stay. Avoid speaking negatively about the school and its personnel. Parents, you are your child's primary teacher, and your child's behavior outside the home is a reflection on YOU. The school personnel are there to educate your child, not to raise them.
