AMF offers $20k in scholarships for seniors

Hailey Waldo editor@riverbendnews.org High school seniors now have the opportunity to apply for a statewide scholarship offered by the American Muslim Alliance of Florida, Inc. (AMF). A total of $20,000 in scholarship funds will be awarded to students pursuing a college education. Ten students will receive $1,000 each, and an additional 20 will receive $500. To qualify, applicants must be graduating seniors in Florida, whether attending public, private or homeschool. Students must hold a minimum 3.0 grade point average and include official transcripts with their application. Two letters of recommendation from core subject teachers are required, along with a one-page, single-spaced essay
