American Legion hosts Veterans Day ceremony

A ceremony honoring local Suwannee County Veterans was held at the Live Oak Cemetery on Monday, Nov. 11, which was hosted by the American Legion Harry C. Gray II Memorial Post 107.
The day was filled with honor, as Alonzo Philmore, Post Commander of Post 107, led the ceremony. Opening the ceremony was Joy Geiger, who sang the National Anthem before the crowd at the event. Among those in attendance were members of the Live Oak Fire Department, Mayor Frank Davis, Veterans Day Parade Grand Marshal Master Sergeant Leland Sneed, and various family members and Veterans throughout Suwannee County and elsewhere.
