A single vehicle accident resulted in the death of a 20 year old Mayo resident on Tuesday, Nov. 18.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol accident report, the driver, later identified as Caleb Jackson Reed, was traveling west on County Road 536 in his sedan at 10:55 p.m. For unknown reasons, the sedan exited the roadway and traveled onto the south grass shoulder, where it overturned.
Reed sustained fatal injuries as a result of the accident and was pronounced deceased on the scene.
