AADC celebrates students during Annual Awards and Scholarship program

The African American Development Council, Inc. (AADC) of Live Oak celebrated student achievement, leadership and community service during its Annual Awards and Scholarship program held on Friday, May 15, at Bethlehem AME Church in McAlpin. The evening brought together families, educators, church leaders, scholarship donors and community supporters to honor graduating seniors from both Melody Christian Academy and Suwannee High School.
Founded in 1995, the AADC was created to support the professional, educational, spiritual, civic and economic development of African Americans in Suwannee County. The organization has spent more than 30 years investing in local
