The Lafayette County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO) has obtained and served 16 arrest warrants in Lafayette County, Fla. The LCSO with assistance from Columbia County Sheriff’s Office, Taylor County Sheriff’s Office, Suwannee County Sheriff’s Office, Perry Police Department, Lake City Police Department, North Star Multijurisdictional Drug Task Force, United States Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) and Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) conducted a long-term investigation targeting individuals who actively engage in the sales of illicit narcotics. The investigations began after the LCSO received citizen complaints in reference to illegal narcotics activity. Their strong partnerships with other law enforcement agencies allowed them to work together to make sure Lafayette County is a safer place to live and work. Sheriff Brian Lamb wants to give thanks to the dedication of all those involved in these investigations. The investigations resulted in the following persons being arrested.
Edward Allen Thomas, 60-years-old; possession of drug equipment, misdemeanor; cocaine possession with intent to sell, felony and cocaine selling, felony. Lance Reid, 32-years-old, violation of probation, misdemeanor; cocaine possession, felony; cocaine distribution, felony; cocaine selling, felony; possession of drug equipment, misdemeanor and drug misbranded, felony. Felita Land, 56-years-old, three counts of delivery of methamphetamine, felony; two counts of possession of drug equipment, misdemeanor; and two counts of production of methamphetamine, felony. Shaye Tulk, 32 years old; two counts of child neglect, felony; possession drug equipment, misdemeanor and two counts of possession of methamphetamine with intent to sell or deliver, felony. Joe Gaskins, 48 years old; possession of drug equipment, misdemeanor and two counts of sell and delivery of methamphetamine, felony. Jaclyn Chambers, 28-years-old; an out of county warrant; possession of drug equipment, misdemeanor, and possession of drug without prescription, felony. Zachery Leake, 31-years-old, two counts of delivery of methamphetamine within 1,000 feet of a worship center, felony; three counts of delivery of methamphetamine, felony; three counts of possession of drug equipment, misdemeanor and three counts of selling methamphetamine, felony. Tyrone Cook, 48-years-old, sale of synthetic narcotics, felony; possession of synthetic narcotics, felony; possession of drug equipment, misdemeanor; sale of Cocaine, felony; cocaine possession, felony and possession of cocaine within 1,000 feet of a specific area, felony. Fawn Hurley, 36-years- old, two counts of possession of methamphetamine with intent to sell, felony; two counts of possession of drug equipment, misdemeanor and two counts of delivery and distribution of methamphetamine, felony. Jessica Crumity, 38- years-old, drug selling within 1,000 feet of a worship center, felony; drug possession within 1,000 feet of a worship center, felony and possession of drug equipment, misdemeanor. Calvin Pritchett, 58-years-old, selling methamphetamine within 1,000 feet of a worship center, felony; possession of a controlled substance within 1,000 feet of a worship center, felony and possession of drug equipment, misdemeanor. Sunshine Reid, 31-years-old, two counts of selling controlled substance within 1,000 feet of worship and or school, felony; two counts of cocaine possession within 1,000 feet of a worship center and or school, felony and drug equipment possession, misdemeanor. Bubba Bird, 21- years-old, three counts of drug sale, felony; two counts of drug possession, felony and possession of drug equipment, misdemeanor. Sara Yother, 44-years- old, battery, misdemeanor; introduction of contraband into facility, felony; possession of drug equipment, misdemeanor; possession and selling amphetamine, felony. Jeffrey Ray Barnes, 38-years-old, traffic in amphetamine, felony and drug equipment possession, misdemeanor. Stephen Derrick Howard, 37-years-old, sale of controlled substance in lieu of, felony.
