A local student is inviting Florida farmers to participate in a survey studying the impact of hurricanes on agricultural practices. Harrison Jackson, a junior at Lafayette High School, aims to gather information from farmers of all types, including livestock, dairy, timber, poultry, mixed operations and others. All it takes is 10 minutes to fill out the survey. The survey can be reached by scanning the QR code accompanying this article. It asks simple questions regarding the size and primary objective of the farms, as well as farmers' experience with hurricanes and their effect on operations.
