A search warrant executed by the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office on Tuesday, Dec. 3, led to the arrest of 34-year-old Jasper resident Jacaris Clarence Stubbs and the discovery of a large number of drugs, firearms and drug-manufacturing equipment at his residence. Authorities searched Stubbs's home in Jasper and recovered an arsenal of weapons, including two handguns and two long guns. Investigators also seized 53 pounds of marijuana, 33 pounds of THC-infused edibles, four ounces of MDMA (commonly known as Ecstasy), one pound of psychedelic mushrooms, and 22 THC vape cartridges. Additionally, cocaine manufacturing equipment and money suspected to be drug proceeds were found on the property. Stubbs was arrested and transported to the Hamilton County Jail, where he faces a series of charges, including one count of manufacturing a controlled substance, one count of possession of marijuana with intent to sell or deliver, one count of trafficking more than 25 pounds of marijuana, two counts of possession of synthetic narcotics over 10 grams, and two counts of possession of synthetic narcotics with intent to sell.
