Christian Peterson reporter@riverbendnewsnews.org On Tuesday, Nov. 18, the Suwannee County Board of County Commissioners met for its regularly scheduled meeting. The evening began with the election of a new chairman and vice-chairman within the board. Commissioner Franklin White was elected as the new chairman, and Commissioner Don Hale was elected as vice- chairman. White will begin presiding over the meetings at the first meeting in December, slated for Tuesday, Dec. 2. The commissioners then approved the minutes from the previous meeting.
