10th Annual Steve Claffey Memorial Game coming soon

Danny Federico editor@riverbendnews.org On Friday, Dec. 26, and Saturday, Dec. 27, the community will join together to honor the memory of Suwannee Middle School Coach Steve Claffey, who passed away from colon cancer in 2013 at the age of 45. Since its inception in 2015, the Steve Claffey Memorial Foundation's annual Memorial Game has raised more than $12,000, with every dollar going directly to families in need throughout the community. The foundation also supports the Resiliency Scholarship, dedicated to students who have faced adversity and overcome significant obstacles while continuing to pursue their education.
