Calling all volunteers: Beautification begins with your help!

Danny Federico reporter3.riverbendnews@gmail.com Join the White Springs Historic Preservation Society on Sunday, April 28, as the community comes together to help beautify the town. The event, which will begin at 1 p.m., aims to enhance the town's historic charm. Volunteers will be meeting at the Tourism Center before breaking into teams to clean Spring Street, Ahmoglee Park and Willie Guy Turner Park. Tasks will include picking up trash, cutting and throwing away overgrown limbs, cleaning signs and fencing and planting edible plants, such as fruit trees, vegetables and herbs. Volunteers will need to bring gloves, lawn trash bags, bottled water and ice. All are welcome to participate in
