James H. Cagle Guest Columnist “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God” (John 1:1 KJV). We love words. We love taking them in, and we love giving them out. We love reading and writing. By listening and reading, we educate ourselves, and by speaking and writing, we educate others. Words are the medium for public expression of a private thought. Words form and express the thoughts publicly that we have formed privately. Words have meaning, and we use their meaning to transfer our thoughts to others.
