According to a Jasper Police Department (JPD) report, on Saturday, Nov. 14, officers with the JPD conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle on I-75 at the 448 mile marker southbound, after witnessing a violation of the Florida window tint law at the Marathon gas station on US-129 South.
After a short investigation, the officers conducted a probable cause search of the vehicle, where they discovered 1.78 pounds of marijuana, 19.5 grams of Alprazolam (Xanax), 1.3 grams of MDMA (Ecstasy), two handguns, a food vacuum sealer, numerous amounts of sandwich bags, several weight scales and $1,553.
Two adults, 22-year old Brianna Marie Capozzi of Holly Hill and 18-year old Anthony Sahid Zavala-Quintero of Ormond Beach, as well as an unnamed juvenile were placed under arrest.
Capozzi was charged with possession of marijuana more than 20 grams, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of a controlled substance without a prescription, possession of drug paraphernalia and three counts of child neglect without great bodily harm.
Zavala-Quintero was charged with possession of marijuana more than 20 grams, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of drug paraphernalia, three counts of child neglect without great bodily harm and possession of a firearm by an adjudicated delinquent.
