Branford softball coach takes home 100 wins

However, before the game started, the team took a moment to honor their coach, Oscar Saavedra, who had officially collected 100 wins as the team's coach. However, at the time of the event, it was actually 115 wins and would become 116 later that night. The team congratulated their coach, hugged him and then presented him with the game ball from his 100th win, complete with their signatures and a gift bag.
