Hamilton students brave the stage to excel in District Florida 4-H Public Speaking Contest

Imagine having to speak to a room full of people, mostly strangers. Your palms are sweating, your heart is racing, butterflies are fluttering around in your stomach, and you feel like you are about to pass out. Well, that is what boys and girls across the state had to endure during all of their speech contests over the last several weeks. First, they had to compete at the classroom level, in which they competed against their grade-level classmates. Classroom speeches were conducted in grades four, five and six.
