Guardians of the Flame carry the “Flame of Hope” through Suwannee County

On Friday, April 5, law enforcement and individuals across Suwannee County joined together for the annual Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics Florida. The two-mile run started at Suwannee High School and traveled west onto Pinewood Drive, where students from the surrounding elementary schools greeted participants. Youth on the sidelines cheered runners on, holding up neon-colored signs sporting various words of encouragement. The Guardians of the Flame then made their way north on Walker Avenue, east on 11th Street, south on Pine Avenue, and back to Suwannee High School. Upon crossing the finish line, runners were greeted by Paw
