Solar eclipse happening April 8

Although Florida is not in the path of the total solar eclipse that will occur on Monday, April 8, residents statewide will be able to see degrees of a partial eclipse, weather permitting.
According to NASA, the total solar eclipse will begin in the South Pacific, enter the United States from Mexico at Texas, and travel in a northeast direction across Oklahoma, Arkansas, Missouri, Illinois, Kentucky, Indiana, Ohio, Pennsylvania, New York, Vermont, New Hampshire, Maine and into Canada. Small parts of Tennessee and Michigan will also experience the total eclipse.
Residents in Florida will not be able to see the full blockage of
