The good, the bad and the ugly: “Road House”
“Road House” is a remake of the 1989 film of the same name. It was directed by Doug Liman, and the screenplay was written by Anthony Bagarozzi and Chuck Mondry. In a classy move, Joel Silver, the producer of the original movie, returned to produce the new one. This new version of the film, updated for a new generation, was released to American audiences via Prime Video on Thursday, March 21. The film follows Elwood Dalton (Jake Gyllenhaal) a former UFC middleweight fighter, who, after being found scamming underground fighters and attempting a suicide by train, takes a job as a bouncer for The Road House in Glass Key. What seems like an easy job and a quick buck for Dalton turns into a mu
