Kiwanians hear about summer program for area youth

Rick Patrick reporter3.riverbendnews@gmail.com During their regular meeting on Thursday, March 14, the Madison Kiwanis Club had a program on a career exploration program offered by CareerSource North Florida. This program is open to youth, 14 to 18 years of age who meet certain economic guidelines and live in the six-county area served by CareerSource North Florida. Those counties include: Jefferson, Madison, Taylor, Suwannee, Hamilton and Lafayette Counties. Through the use of 3-D Virtual Reality (VR) technology, students are able to gain “hands on” experience in a multitude of career choices.
