Hornets steal show in rivalry clash with Buccaneers

On Tuesday, March 12, the Lafayette High School baseball team hosted the Branford Buccaneers in an intense matchup. The game began at 7 p.m., and before the players had even hit the field, the crowd was growing. By the time the first batter stood on home plate, there was standing room only; the outside of the field was surrounded by families on the beds of pickup trucks, each eager to watch the ultimate rivalry game.
