Suwannee County Sheriff’s Office showcases specialized equipment to Wellborn Homeschool Co-op

On Thursday, March 7, the Suwannee County Sheriff’s Office treated students of the Wellborn Homeschool Co-op to an eye-opening demonstration of its specialized units and cutting-edge equipment. The event aimed to provide students with firsthand experience of the advanced technology and resources utilized by the sheriff’s office to enhance public safety and community well-being. The comprehensive demonstration highlighted three key units within the sheriff’s office: the Unmanned Aerial System Unit, the Project Lifesaver Program and the K-9 unit.
