Live Oak City Council deliberates spring cleaning initiatives, sewer tap fees and annexation challenges

Several key items were up for discussion during the Live Oak City Council's regular meeting on Tuesday, March 12.
Spring Cleaning
City Manager Larry Sessions brought the first item up for discussion during the department reports. At this time, Sessions informed the public that the city would be spending a lot of money picking up certain trash items starting in April. He urged residents of each district to separate piles into one for vegetative debris and one for all other trash and materials, including appliances.
