Hornets take first loss of season

On Friday, March 7, the Lafayette High School Hornets faced off against the Newberry Panthers for their seventh game of the baseball season. For the entire season, the Hornets had been undefeated, putting victory after victory underneath their belt. However, the Panthers would be the biggest challenge that the Hornets had faced.
The game began with the Panthers at bat. The first three innings proved that these teams were meant to battle.
