Daylight savings time is upon us, and I made it to church on time. Thanks be to God for small miracles. The world around us is awash with the many and varied beautiful colors of springtime, from the pristine white of dogwood in full bloom to the hot, hot pink of Formosa azaleas. If anyone can view our world at this time of year with its whole pageantry of seasonal beauty on display without recognizing the tremendous gift of the Creator of the Universe, then that individual must have a "thumping gizzard" where the heart should be.
