Lafayette commission ends state of emergency

On Tuesday, Feb. 27, the Lafayette County Board of County Commissioners met for its regularly scheduled meeting. The meeting began as normal, with the approval of last meeting's minutes, before the board moved on to the department head reports.
Scott Sadler with public works was the first to speak, telling the board that grading was continuing as usual. He also told the board that the clean up of the Edward Perry Sports Complex would be completed in time for Super Saturday, March 23.
