Town of Mayo approves new planning and zoning councilmember

Christian Peterson reporter.riverbendnews@gmail.com On Monday, Feb. 12, the Mayo Town Council met for its regularly scheduled meeting. The meeting began as normal, heading into old business after approving the agenda and minutes. Here, the council was told that preliminaries for environmental for the Community Block Development Grant had started. The council then opened the bid for continuing engineering services for the town. There was one response from Mott McDonald. After scoring the proposal, just to make sure that the company could do what the town needed, the council accepted the proposal. The council then approved Pam Milton to replace Dosha Thomas on the planning and zoning counc
