Lafayette girls soccer end their rockstar season at regionals

Christian Peterson reporter.riverbendnews@gmail.com On Tuesday, Feb. 6, the Lafayette High School girls’ soccer team went head to head with the University Christian Christians in the quarterfinals regional tournament. Here, the Hornets found themselves against their true equal. For the majority of the game, the Hornets held the lead by one point. Back and forth the two teams went until the Christians managed to pull ahead at the last second. As the clock ran out and the scoreboard glowed 4-3 in favor of the Christians, the Hornets walked off the field with their heads held high.
