Lafayette reaches new highs and lows in district tournament

On Tuesday, Feb. 6, the Hamilton County High School boys' basketball team hosted the Lafayette Hornets in the playoffs of the district tournament. Within the first quarter, it was clear that the Hornets came to win; they scored 20 points compared to the Trojans' eight. However, in the second quarter, the Trojans picked up the pace, scoring 12 points, while the Hornets scored 14.
Amarie Fleming (#3) was the standout performer for the Hornets, scoring 25 points throughout the entire game. Jordan Murphy and Tywan Williamson were the next two top scorers for the Lafayette boys, each scoring eight points. By the time the second half of the g
