Hamilton students compete in district-wide Spelling Bee

Amy Hendry Contributor On Wednesday, Jan. 24, Hamilton County Elementary School (HCES) hosted the Hamilton County School District Spelling Bee in its media center. Six contestants competed for the honor of representing Hamilton County schools in the regional First Coast Spelling Bee, which will be held at the LaVilla School of the Arts in Jacksonville on Monday, March 25. Contestants included three students from HCES and three students from Hamilton County High School (HCHS).
