Jennings Town Council grapples with contractor payment post-hurricane cleanup

Danny Federico reporter3.riverbendnews@gmail.com The Jennings Town Council was subject to a heated debate during its regular meeting on Tuesday, Feb. 6. Andre Jackson, owner of Jackson Tractor Work LLC, addressed the council in regard to payment for his cleaning services following Hurricane Idalia. Jackson stated he had finished his cleanup in approximately three and a half months and expressed his appreciation for the council giving him the opportunity to work for the council. He also voiced his gratitude for the Jennings Police Department's assistance with traffic control while performing his cleaning duties.
