That is why, this week, the department is offering microchipping for residents. This will help owners retrieve their pets faster should they run away. To set up an appointment is simple, just visit the Hamilton County Animal Control Facebook page and message them to set up a time. Then, head to 910 NW US Hwy 41, in Jasper, with a donation or a bag of dog food to get your animal chipped.
